Work experience allows the professional to put educational training into action. Work experience is the application of formal post-secondary education that further develops the skills and abilities to ensure competent practice. This work experience must be attained under the supervision of a qualified professional who takes responsibility for the work of the ATT or AIT.
The number of years of supervised work experience that must be attained prior to applying for the RTAg or PAg titles is dependent upon the practice area within which you wish to provide independent (unsupervised) professional services. The following table identifies the practice-area specific work experience that must be met before:
- an ATT or AIT becomes eligible to apply for the RTAg or PAg titles, or
- if adding a new practice area as an RTAg or PAg.
